What Is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness coaching is a process that guides you to your desired goals in health, happiness and fitness. I, the coach, am your partner on this journey.

You have sworn over and over you are going to lose 10 lbs, but did you tap into a powerful motivation to stay on track? Did you have a concrete weekly plan to lose that weight? Did you figure out how to deal with the barriers that caused you to fail the last time? With my coaching skills and your willingness, I can get you to your goals.

My training has taught me to empower you. I will guide you to lasting change in your mindset and behavior, but I firmly believe you have the answers within you to create the life and health habits you want. It is my job to elicit them, and I do that by listening, clarifying the issues, focusing on solutions and helping you set clear goals so you can be as healthy as you’ve always wanted to be. It is a supportive partnership that brings out the best in you.

Is Wellness Coaching Right For Me?
If you have tried to lose weight, eat better, or attempted to stay on an exercise program but did not keep it up, then having a coach to help you create a plan will get you great results. Most of us need guidance and support to reverse longstanding habits and make lasting positive changes in our lives! Health coaching is an investment in YOU first, but it also has positive effects on your relationships, your work, your medical costs and your future as a whole!

If you are sick of not improving your fitness or your eating habits, then a wellness coach is for you. As my twin sister says, “If what you are doing is not working, change what you are doing”. A coach is a great change to make if you are stuck in a rut!

I Don’t Live in Los Angeles. May I Still Get Coaching From You?
YES! I do all my coaching on the phone, so we can work together no matter where you live in the world. If you live in another country, we can Skype or use another app to talk.

Am I Going To Be Doing Things I Hate, Like In A Boot Camp?
No, you’ll actually enjoy the process! The exercise and eating habits we develop will fit well into your life because YOU are the boss. I am the guide. Together, we will create a new lifestyle you can maintain consistently on your own – to have that, you have to be excited about the changes you are making! I do not insist you do anything you do not want to do, and I do not lay any guilt trips – this is your life and you get to live it the way you want.

Will Our Conversations Be Confidential?
Yes. I respect the confidentiality of my clients’ information – both on any submitted forms and during our conversations – except as otherwise authorized by my client, or as required by law.

Where Were You Trained?
I am certified as a personal wellness coach by Wellcoaches School of Coaching which is accredited by the American College of Sports Medicine. My classmates were nurses, nutritionists and exercise experts. The course is based on science and positive psychology, as well as decades of experience in the field of coaching.

Is Coaching Like Therapy?
Coaching is different than therapy because it does not focus on overcoming psychological issues. Coaching does not examine why things went wrong in the past; instead it focuses on how to change things now – it applies your strengths and motivations to measurable behavioral goals, which are set each session. I like to say that therapy asks “Why did this happen?” and coaching asks “How can we overcome this?”
